Reviewing the Compliant Environment: No Recourse to Public Funds

The No Recourse to Public Funds condition – which is imposed on grants of limited leave to enter or remain – prohibits most migrants from accessing certain public funds. The condition has come under greater scrutiny during the COVID-19 pandemic, as many have faced real hardship, and it was the subject of a key High Court case in May.

The APPG will be hosting a panel discussion to look at this. The panel will include: Amanda Weston QC, Garden Court Chambers; Caz Hattam, The Unity Project; Abi Brunswick, Project 17; An individual with personal experience of NRPF.
