Stephen writes to Egyptian Ambassador about Rafah Crossing

Stephen has written to Ambassador Nasser Kamel, the Egyptian Ambassador to the UK asking if Egypt was planning to open up the Rafah Crossing.

Recent reports hinted that Egypt would open the border crossing between Gaza and Egypt for the first time since the Israel-Hamas war erupted. It has been suggested that more than 500 foreign nationals and dual citizens will be allowed to leave the enclave, and that some injured Palestinians may be treated in Egyptian hospitals.

In his letter Stephen said any opening of the border would be welcome. You can read the letter here.
