Stephen has welcomed an apology from the BBC about some of its coverage of the conflict in Gaza.

The Corporation had come under criticism for its reporting on pro-Palestine marches, as well its coverage of al-Shifa Hospital, where it acknowledged that it had fallen short of editorial standards.

Speaking afterwards, Stephen said: “In its Editorial Guidelines, the BBC has committed to achieving ‘due impartiality’ in all of its output. There have been points during the conflict where this has not happened and I - along with many of my constituents - welcome the BBCs apology.”
