Stephen Timms, Member of Parliament for East Ham, has attended the Shalom Employment Action Centre’s (SEAC) Awards Ceremony. At the event Mr Timms - Shadow Employment Minister - presented graduating students with certificates.

The ceremony, which Mr Timms regularly attends, was held at the Shalom Centre in High Street North, Manor Park. Mr Timms gave out a number of awards to those who had recently completed their courses at SEAC. He also presented a small number of learners with trophies recognising their exceptional achievements during their studies.

Shalom Employment Action Centre is a voluntary sector community based education and training centre which offers adult education courses in a wide range of subjects including construction, ICT, performing arts and business administration.

After the ceremony Stephen Timms MP said: “I have always been impressed with the good work done by the Shalom Employment Action Centre and this year is no exception. The SEAC has once again given the opportunity for a number of students to make the most of their talents and gain skills that will help them contribute to society. I wish all the graduates the very best in their future endeavours.”
