Stephen is aware of recent comment in the media regarding the current court case resulting from the incident in which he was attacked at his constituency surgery on the 14th May 2010. He does not intend to comment further, beyond stating that he is recovering well. He is overwhelmed by the many messages of support he has received, including many from Muslim constituents who tell him they are praying for his recovery.
