Stephen  Timms has today criticsed Iain Duncan Smith following a report by the National Audit Office which found that Universal Credit has been badly managed and provided poor value for money.

Writing for the Huffington Post, Stephen said: "The government's flagship Universal Credit programme is in deep trouble. Iain Duncan-Smith has repeatedly claimed that the project is "on track". He is utterly out of touch with reality, and that's why things are going wrong. He would have done far better to come clean about the problems."
