Stephen Timms, the MP for East Ham, today visited Sandringham Primary School.

Stephen presented certificates at the school’s achievement assembly, and then met with the school council to discuss their current campaign to make Sandringham Road a one way street. Finally, he listened in on a lively debate by the school’s debating group.

After the visit Stephen said: “I very much enjoyed my visit to Sandringham  today. It is a remarkable school. In particular, I was very impressed to hear y the work the school council are doing with the local community.

“It is clear that all the pupils and teachers are very proud of their school and its work in and around East Ham. I can certainly see why!”
