Stephen Timms has attended the Shalom Employment Action Centre’s (SEAC) Awards Ceremony. At the event Mr Timms presented graduating students with certificates. He also presented trophies to a small number of students, recognising their exceptional achievements during their studies.
Shalom Employment Action Centre was first set up in Manor Park in 1988. The Centre offers a variety of adult education courses in subjects including English, ICT, and business administration.
Speaking after the event, Mr Timms said: “I would like to congratulate all the students who collected their awards earlier today. The Shalom Employment Action Centre has a proven track record in helping people into work. London is moving eastward, with many companies looking to invest in and around our community. SEAC does a vital job in ensuring that local residents make the most of the opportunities that become available.”
