Stephen Timms, Member of Parliament for East Ham, sat down with around 30 small business owners in East Ham to discuss the issues most affecting their business. The discussion focused on ways small business and Newham council can work together to attract more customers to Newham.

The meeting was organised by Rajini Nathan. Ms Nathan runs Nathan Business Consultants, a company that sets up regular opportunities for local business owners to meet and share their opinions on running a business in East Ham.

Speaking after the meeting, Stephen noted: “I enjoyed meeting with such a wide range of business owner, who are working very hard right here in East Ham. I look forward to working with them more closely in the future.”
