| Newham We Are What We Do is the Newham branch of We Are What We Do, and was created by Community Links. Our goal is to
inspire people to use their everyday actions to make the world a better place.
We believe that small actions x lots of people = big change!
Reducing our carbon emissions is one of We Are What We Do's actions to change the world. In our two books, Change the World for a Fiver and Change the World 9 to 5, we
give examples of 100 small actions that people can take in their everyday lives. These actions - environmental, social and health - are also on our website at http://www.wearewhatwedo.org/.
We Are What We Do works with people all over the world, and we have published versions of our books in Australia, Canada, Germany and Switzerland. We have sold over half a million copies
worldwide.
In Newham we are running a local We Are What We Do project. We have been working with people across the whole community - schools, colleges, businesses, shops, MPs, faith groups and the
Council. We are encouraging people to make small changes to their everyday behaviour. The Newham Recorder is reporting our progress.
Climate change is an issue for us all and we are very pleased that Stephen Timms MP has joined with us to tackle it.
