My day began with catching up with Simon Letchford, the Borough Police Commander. Afterwards I looked in on a music business seminar hosted by Zoe Gospel Promotions at University of East London.  I then met with a constituent, followed by a meeting with leaders from the East London Community Organisation, TELCO.  I visited Tate & Lyle and met with the company’s Chief Executive, Ian Bacon.  Afterwards I held my surgery in the Town Hall. 

I ended my day by meeting with Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Newham Hospital to discuss the increasing difficulties in funding crucial advice work.
